Ariella's Senior Session

I love working with high school seniors to create their vision of their senior session. Senior year is a momentous time in one’s life, full of decisions, stress, and triumphs! Every senior I’ve worked with has known exactly what they wanted for their senior session - from location to wardrobe to props.

Ariella is no exception! She completed my questionnaire and had every detail nailed down! She wanted trees and mountains to help create the dreamy, relaxed, and quirky atmosphere she desired for her photos. No surprise to me, as she’s been described as creative and whimsical by her friends!

Not only does Ariella love to draw, read, and write (she’s written a book series AND novel!!), she likes to sew as well! She designed and created this amazing outfit to wear as one of her book characters - Ariella! I’m so impressed!

We found a lovely open area to explore…

The temperature cooled down quickly as the sun hid itself behind the mountain, and we moved to an aspen grove to shield us from the breeze. I’m so glad I grabbed this favorite wool blanket as I left my house for the session. I had a sneaking suspicion it would look amazing on her in this setting, and it did not disappoint!

Ariella, I hope your session and photos are everything you dreamed them to be! I wish you many blessings and successes as you graduate and move on to college next fall.
