2019 Clickin' Walk
I was so blessed to co-host Clickin’ Moms 2019 Clickin’ Walk with the delightful Lisa Weingardt, of
Little Loo Photography. We’ve both hosted in the past, but were not able to co-host until this year.
We met at Casa Don Juan’s in the Art District on a hot September day. Summer heat knows no bounds here in the desert. We started off as a group of 9, but unfortunately 2 had to leave early due to the heat.
This particular area of the Art District, by Commerce / Main / Charleston, has really been cleaned up and is sooo much fun to walk through now. We were all armed with our cameras and favorite lenses and just had a great time on our walk. The purpose of the walk is to build and encourage community among local photographers. You do not have to be a member of Clickin’ Moms to participate. All photographers are welcome to join in.
What do you do on a photo walk? You take photos of anything that catches your interest! It could be architecture, graffiti, nature, people, etc. To be honest, I can’t even remember what lens I used, lol.
We didn’t walk too long, as it was ridiculously hot… and the savory aromas drifting out of Casa Don Juan’s was too hard to resist. We toasted to our adventures with lots of cold water, margaritas, and fajitas!
Are you interested in joining us for a photo walk this winter? Be sure to let me know!
