A Crafty Adventure!
I recently worked with a large group of high school seniors in the portrait studio. This group had decided on a specific theme and chosen the color scheme of grays and blush pinks. When I was creating my shot list for these sessions, I knew I wanted to use a type of barrel chair, preferably pink.
I couldn’t find the perfect backdrop for these sessions and honestly, didn’t have time to order one and have it arrive in time. My friend Leslie sent me a link to a blog post where the blogger made a custom backdrop. It looked simple enough, so off to Walmart and the Dollar Store for supplies!
I laid everything out in the garage and asked (pleaded) with my daughter and daughter-in-law to help me. I will admit I was nervous, as I typically am before starting a new craft project and having the girls with me really helped calm my nerves. We were finished in no time, having lots of fun and without too much mess!
See below a few photos showing sequence and how the final backdrop looked in the photos!
ps… excuse the messy garage!
