Ready or not, 2020 is here!
I took a long, much-needed break over the holidays, 7 weeks to be exact! 2019 was a busy year, In both my business and personal life. I Enjoyed spending time with the hubby and kids on my break. It was good. It was needed.
I created a few collages for a project, and I noticed they really highlight my 2019. I thought I’d share.
2019 started off with a couple of commercial projects. I’ve started to do more commercial work and I really like it. I Attended the SPAC convention (international convention for school and sports photographers) and WPPI (wedding and portrait photogs intL). I’m so blessed they are both held here in town.
Senior and school portraits typically fill my spring, and 2019 was no exception.
Family and senior sessions slow down over the summer. Not many prople enjoy doing portraits in 110’ degrees. There are some hardy people out ther, however, so I did have a few of those and they’re always fun because I bring Sonic slushies! PHOTOGRAPHY workshops and family events filled the rest of my summer. Family, senior, and boutique school portraits filled the rest of my calendar through December.
i didn’t travel as much as usual, but I did squeeze a few adventures in Poulsbo, Wa.,Valley of Fire, Death Valley, Elko and Spring Creek, Twin Falls, Reno, Phoenix, Redstone (Lmnra), Philadelphia, Morristown, NJ, Crystal Lake, IL, and Lake Geneva, WI. I’ve got some of the best traveling buddies around.
My 2020 calendar is splattered with family and senior sessions, photography workshops, and more schools than ever before. Good thing i’m rested. Bring it on!
